*The safety of all participants, spectators, and volunteers is vital in ensuring that we have a fun and successful race. Please read the following information, rules, registration and waiver carefully before signing. *
RULES
All participants must sign a waiver before you will be allowed to compete. Participants under the age of 18 are required to have a parent or legal guardian sign the waiver for them. With so many participants, spectators, and volunteers present, please be aware of your surroundings and the location of your cardboard craft at all times. Participants are responsible for stopping their cardboard crafts after crossing the finish line. There will be a safety fence at the bottom of the hill, but it is the participant's responsibility to be able to stop their craft. Once you have completed your turn down the hill make sure all participants on your team are off the course, along with your cardboard craft and any material that may have fallen off during the race – the next participant will not be allowed to start until you have completely removed your cardboard craft and team from the course.
Our goal is for everyone to have fun and to be safe.

-
Cardboard
-
Tape
-
Glue
-
Paint
* The use of any other materials including but not limited to: wood, metal, wire, fiberglass/plexiglass, etc. will not be allowed and your craft will be disqualified and will not compete.
All crafts will be examined at the time of registration to ensure no unpermitted materials are used. Any cardboard craft that is not built with the allowed materials only will be disqualified from the race.
Most Creative Craft:
-
A group of volunteers, picked at random, will be chosen as judges to select the most creative craft overall (across all three of the categories).
Race Rules:
-
Helmets are highly recommended. Please bring your own as they will not be provided.
-
Dressing up is highly encouraged and will be taken into account when being judged for the most creative cardboard craft. Please make sure that your costume is safe for you to race in, and if not please remove any unsafe items prior to the race.
-
Cardboard crafts will be judged based on the age of the oldest rider.
-
A push line will be established 10+ feet beyond the start line. All racers will line up at the push line and anyone helping to push the cardboard craft must stop pushing or be in the cardboard craft before the cardboard craft crosses the start line.
-
Contestants are responsible for controlling the speed and direction of their cardboard craft, including stopping at the finish.
-
A cardboard craft is not considered "finished" until the entire cardboard craft and all team members, including those left behind on the course, have completely crossed the finish line.
-
There will be a minimum of two runs down the course per cardboard craft entry with the possibility of three runs – dependent on how many participant crafts we have. This will be determined after registration is complete.
-
Winners will be determined at the finish line and trophies will be presented after times have been calculated and each category has completed its races – so stick around!
